Jamais auparavant le corps humain n\u2019aura-t-il subi des stress importants pendant une p\u00e9riode aussi longue.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de sa pr\u00e9sentation, l\u2019astronaute, m\u00e9decin et ing\u00e9nieur David Saint-Jacques a expliqu\u00e9 que mis \u00e0 part les dangers li\u00e9s au voyage m\u00eame de la fus\u00e9e (d\u00e9collage, atterrissage, acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration\/d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9ration, explosion, etc.) beaucoup de probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9 physique et mentale sont li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019environnement hostile et l\u2019isolation ou confinement. Les radiations cosmiques ainsi que les traumas possibles sont aussi des pr\u00e9occupations. Environ 30% des astronautes effectuant des vols de courte dur\u00e9e dans une navette spatiale (environ deux semaines) et 60% en mission de longue dur\u00e9e \u00e0 bord de la Station Spatiale Internationale (ISS) ont signal\u00e9 une alt\u00e9ration de leur vision [1].<\/p>\n<p>En r\u00e9ponse, le professeur Michael Delp \u2013 le doyen du College of Human Sciences de la Florida State University (FSU) et ses coll\u00e8gues recommandent que la gravit\u00e9 artificielle soit incorpor\u00e9e dans les futures missions et ont commenc\u00e9 avec une \u00e9tude sur des groupes de souris. Alors qu\u2019un groupe vivait dans des conditions de microgravit\u00e9 ambiante, l\u2019autre vivait dans une unit\u00e9 qui reproduisait l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de la gravit\u00e9 terrestre.
